           August 22, 2006

These photographs were taken on 22 Aug
2006, three weeks after I made the switch
from standard, weight training to
body-weight  strength training (BST) and
from mainly a meat / beef diet to a more ovo
/ lacto vegetarian one.  The veggie diet did
not work out - I eventually moved back to a
60% meat / 40% veggie.

                            Stats

Date:
  22 August 2006
Location:   Houston, Texas
Weight:   167lbs.
Diet:   40% meat / 60% vegetables.
Routine: 98% Body Weight-Strength
Exercises:  Standard U.S. Army push up /
Ranger push up / Dips / Over/Under hand
pull ups.  2% weight lifting (heavy).

Comments: Positive: This change in my
routine has been phenominal.  I have
definitely added more size to everything and
with the change from weights to body-weight
strength training (BST). I have added five
pounds of solid muscle, from 162 to 167.
Negative:  I am still holding too much fat
along the abs (pics were taken while I was
holding too much water!)  which may be the
large amount of carbs I consume; I need to
work on establishing upper pectorals and
traps.  Please note no photos taken of my
legs ... they are spinely creatures!
